Marching On, 2009

On December 2, 2009 the New York State Senate rejected a bill that would have allowed same-sex couples to marry. New Yorkers responded to the vote with sadness and anger, but mostly with renewed determination to win.   Linton Media made this piece to rally the troops to continue fighting for equal rights for all LGBT New Yorkers and our families.

Marriage Equality and Public School Learning,  2009

Over the past several months in some states around the country, certain groups have tried to paint a false and misleading picture of how marriage for same-sex couples involves public school learning.  Some have even made deceptive claims that a law allowing same-sex couples to marry would force young children to be taught about these marriages in their schools.  Linton aided ESPA in the creation of this message from New York State’s Deputy Secretary for Education – Duffy Palmer.

Marriage Equality & Religion: The Massachusetts Experience, 2009

One of the most dominant myths used by forces opposed to marriage equality is that allowing same-sex couples to marry would somehow negatively affect religious institutions or apply restrictions to their freedom to worship as they choose.  ESPA asked Linton to create this address to dispel some of those myths by profiling a neighboring state.
